Wash and care instructions for your Bosweel shirt
In former times, white shirts were a symbol of wealth. Those who could afford frequent washes to ensure that the white shirts remained white were well-off.Today, it’s no problem to wear a white shirt every day as all Bosweel shirts stand frequent machine wash.
Washing
We make high demands on the fabric and manufacture the shirts carefully to ensure high quality shirts which stand frequent machine washing over and over again, without affecting collar or colours.
- Fill the washer lightly.
- Follow the wash instructions in the shirt.
- Hang the slightly damp shirts to dry on hangers to ensure minimum creases and to reduce the need for ironing.
Ironing
Iron the shirt while it is still slightly damp to achieve the best result. Alternatively, you can spray water on the shirt during ironing. Incidentally, shirts are always ironed on the outside.
- Start with the sleeves and iron from the centre of the fabric towards the edges.
- Iron the cuffs carefully.
- Tighten the back of the shirt over the ironing board and iron from the centre. Also tighten the fold along the edge of the ironing board and iron it carefully from both sides.
- Unfold the collar and iron it from the neck towards the tips.
- Always iron the front as the last element to avoid creasing it during ironing. Iron from the centre of the fabric towards the edge. Be careful between the buttons.
